Go here and ask for Dave Crowe. Lightest hand on this side of the Mississippi. Been getting tattooed by Dave for years and they’re pieces that I consistently get compliments on 8 years later. He’s the best!!!

I never got the chance to get my tattoo with Caroline, but be sure to read all of the fine lines and policies before booking. I messaged the artist a month in advance to when my appointment was scheduled and sent in a $60 deposit (it was $120 total, split between two people). My friends and I were down in Austin on a trip and planning to be outdoors/swimming and decided it wasn’t a good time to get a tattoo, so I reached out to cancel it 8 days in advance. I can understand artists and small businesses needing deposits in order to have financial income, but I was never informed that it was non-refundable at any point through our communication. There was nothing done regarding the funds we sent or getting any sort of compensation back for the miscommunication. Be aware before booking

Samlee is one of the artist that works Eastend tattoos. I trusted to send my wife to the shop, considering the close location to where we live.
Samlee ended up, not only giving her a tattoo, but also engage into a sexual relationship with her(completely ruining a family) I approached the owner to obtain his information so I can report the incident to the authorities but he decided to protect the employee and keep him working there.. I definitely recommend to never step foot
in this shop and stay away from this artist Samlee.
It is not a safe business location, especially for women .

I have been getting tattooed by JD for around 6 years now. He always comes up with something better than what I had in mind. He is clearly very dedicated to his job. Every experience has been a good one. He has done several large pieces on my arms as well as my full back. If you’re looking to get tattooed by someone Jd is the guy.

I have been getting tattooed by Juan Diego and Sam Lee for a few years now. They are as professional as it gets and some of the nicest most down to earth people I have met. Everyone at the shop is very friendly and it’s a great atmosphere to go get a tattoo. Time after time they prove why I will only be getting work done from them and the Eastend crew!

Raul is hands down the best artist you’re going to find. He listens to what you say and gives life to your ideas. Clean sharp lines, tons of experience, excellent artistic ability, light touch, and all around great guy to hang with. Eastend tattoo is a cool shop with friendly staff. Definitely book here if you’re in Austin.

Went in for a small tattoo, the artist messed up the lettering by not paying attention to design. The owner offered to “fix” it or cover it after the area had healed and now refuses to do so. wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped at Native Hostel on a whim for some drinks. We noticed they were doing flash tatts for $60. I put our names down, had about 6 people in front of us so it took about an hour before we got called back. The tattoo itself only took 5 minutes and we loved how it turned out. They just started it up and mentioned are hoping to continue it on sundays so be on the look out! The guys there were super nice. Totally worth it.

I would not recommend using Leo. I wasted two of my Sundays on coming here. He had told me to come in and we can do a half sleeve I came in the first Sunday and he said the cover up may take some sketching so I said ok he then scheduled me for the following Sunday to finally start that tattoo at 3 pm. I asked him Friday night if we were still good for 3 pm Sunday he said yes. Come to find out Sunday an hour before my appointment he messaged me and says he has to cancel he’s been working late nights and bla bla. Very very unprofessional I’ve never dealt with anybody this unprofessional in my life. Don’t waste your time go elsewhere.

Such a great experience! The staff was very kind and welcoming. My sister and I were walk-ins and they were more than welcome to take us. We had Leo do our tattoos. He was very patient and made sure we were happy with placement and details before starting. Highly recommend this place!!

My tribe type Vibes! Josh & Daniel were amazing & super fun to work with! They dealt with 5 sisters walking in at 10pm on a Saturday night when we decided spontaneously to get a simple tattoo...we have 6 sisters but the youngest doesn’t turn 18 for another 10yrs so we decided to get Roman Numeral VI (6) on the 2nd to youngest 21st birthday! It was the perfect “good vibes only” experience and made our trip to Austin even that more memorable! TYSM! Y’all are amazing!
*CASH ONLY - but great prices and ATM nearby! Oh and bar next door for the Tattoo virgins-taking a shot before helped calm the nerves! 🤗
